Here are some tracks I recorded live at Soundscape Studio, jvcmusic.net, just me and a piano, a couple of mikes, and way too much coffee. I love recording"old-school" style, with no overdubbing or new-fangled studio effects.... And I'll be back in the studio recording my original songs very soon!

The first time I heard "Back to Louisiana" (McClinton) was a great live performance by Marcia Ball at Marshall's. Love this tune! Here's my spin on it, recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
Here's Beethoven's "Fur Elise" boogied out, with "See See Rider" (Rainey/Arant) mixed in, recorded live at Soundscape Studio. Way too much fun.....
Love this one! "Ain't Misbehaving" (Waller/Brooks/Razaf), recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
"Drown in My Own Tears" (Glover) has always been one of my favorites. Recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
Here's a song I learned from the great bluesman, Joe Beard: "Think" (McCracken), recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
"It Hurts Me Too" (James) is just a great blues song, recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
Here's my solo version of the classic song, "Some Kind of Wonderful" (Ellison), recorded live at Soundscape Studio. I really enjoyed playing with John Ellison and the guys in Switzerland back in the day.....
Here's a track recorded live at Nietzsche's music club with my buddy, Brett Blount on saxophone. I love putting songs together to tell a story.... This one combines "I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town" (Jacobs/Razaf/Weldon) with "Don't Answer the Door" (Johnson) and "I Cried Like a Baby" (Brown/David).
Here's "Autumn Leaves" (Mercer/Kosma/Prevert), recorded live at Soundscape Studio.
